Impact is a specialised social hub, based in Stockport, for young people and adults with learning disabilities.  Our aim is to provide support and to meet the needs of all individuals who access our sessions based in their local community.

We not only provide support for our young people and adults but we care about their families and friends too, providing a friendly face and a listening ear when needed.

 

At Impact we are dedicated to ensuring that all our individuals’ needs are met to the highest standards, promoting social skills and independence that is required for a life as a valued young person or adult in their local community. Before any young person or adult attends our sessions, an Impact support worker will arrange to meet and discuss how we can support each individual to the best of our ability. These meetings are crucial to determine what level of support is required. Taster sessions are provided FREE of charge to ensure each young person or adult is suitable for the activities we provide.

Impact tries to offer a FREE pick up and drop off facility for all our young people and adults. We liaise with their families and carers to arrange pick up and drop off times which best suit their needs.​

 

Our staff are dedicated in providing the best support for our individuals between the hours of 9am and 10pm, Monday to Friday (contact us for more details).
